10 days of appetizers – Who doesn’t love finger food. It’s not only easy but it leaves you with very little to clean at the end of the night. You also get to be super creative with this and if you’re not a cook or want to save some time you can buy some pre-made appetizers or even make them the night before. This is perfect for a large crowd and be sure to use fruits and veggies, spices that are in season. Make sure you give your guests that overall experience but making sure they also get a taste of the holiday.

Holiday themed drinks only – As fun as this can be, you don’t want that to be the only thing that you serve .Therefore be sure to include some cheese and crackers, some veggie platter before the main dish. Also be sure to not go overboard and to not break the bank. 2-3 drinks is ideal especially  if you’re not having a big gathering. If you choose to go that route food is just as important as the drinks because no one like to drink on an empty stomach.

Movie theme holiday party – If you’re only having close friends or family over, this is a perfect way to enjoy the holidays. Play your favorite holiday movie and make food that goes with that particular movie. You can also include decors and table settings that goes with that movie. It’s a way of making the movie come to life.

Christmas around the world– Some of us have friends from different backgrounds and believes .Even if your friends are from the same state or country as you ,everyone celebrate the holidays differently . While you might be use to hot cocoa and fresh bake cookies, they may celebrate by having a particular food or sweet. This is almost like doing a potluck the only difference is that you are asking your guest to bring something from where their family is from and something that you eat around this time of year.

I hope this will help you with planning any gathering you may have this year or in the future.
