Four Ways to Rock White After Labor Day

For some, wearing white after Labor Day is the equivalent of wearing a fur coat in front of PETA protestors…

Or is it? Back in the 1900’s, when the rule was originated, white clothing was made solely for the summer. The light color and airy fabric made it easier to stay cool during the summer heat. The rule was created as a subtle notion to pack up your summer clothes and get ready to transition into the Fall/Winter seasons.

After that, of course, fashion experts decided to come up with a way around the rule by suggesting “winter white” or cream as a substitute for white between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Listen, all white, off-white, cream, and egg shell – whatever you choose to name it, it’s nonetheless ALL THE SAME!

Ladies, it’s time to draw a line through this fashion faux pas because it is, in fact, a thing of the past! EGL is here to prove to you that Wearing White after Labor Day is Worth It!
