On Sunday, October 23, a prince was born! DJ Khaled and his fiancée Nicole Turk welcomed their first-born son. The “Major Key” hit maker shared the birth of their little one with the entire world on Snapchat and played his own album the entire time. In the video, you can hear the inexpressible joy of Khaled saying, “My beautiful baby is here. I’m a let y’all hear it only. So beautiful. God is great man. My son, My son, Wow, My son.”
A couple months ago, the successful 40- year-old business mogul made an appearance on the late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and opened up about how the delivery process would go.
“I’m having a boy – my first child, I want to Snapchat the whole birth,” he told Kimmel. When asked about how his pregnant fiancée feels about being watched by millions of people while in labor, his response, “The key is that I’m the king and every queen should support the king. I’m a talk to the doctor and if he says everything is going to run smooth, meaning that the queen is right and my son is right, if running smooth. I can just do my thing.”
Khaled goes on to say that he thinks his son is “definitely going to have a beard” and already considers him a “young icon.”
“They don’t want you to be great!,” but for Khaled, he has proven time and time again that he is the recipe for success by providing daily inspirations, making a No. 1 album, opening for Beyonce on the Formation World Tour this year, landing a record deal with Epic, signing a management deal with JayZ’s Roc Nation and now being a dad!
