Twitter was lighting up this week with tweets all about the Olympics. Many were overjoyed and filled with pride watching the young black women participating and winning in their respective fields. However, there will always be critics. While Gabby Douglas goes on to set records for women of color, many people limit their focus to her hair, AGAIN. Twitter trolls filled up our feeds with nasty tweets about her hair. Unfortunately, many of those tweets came from other black women. Let’s do better, Black Twitter!
