Yeezy Season is most definitely approaching, and you better believe that Kanye West is giving us something to talk about. Initially, Ye had everyone hype by announcing his upcoming album. While Kayne continued his twitter rants, he stirred the pot and made controversial statements, including professing his love for Donald Trump. Kanye’s revelation sparked a lot of dialogue, which led to John Legend calling him out via text message and T.I. voicing his concern. In fact, Ye and T.I. got together to discuss their political differences over a beat, creating the song “Ye’ vs. the People.”

Moving on, Kanye also shared that he wants to love more and hate less. So, he proposed to use surgeon Jan Adams, who performed cosmetic surgery on the late Donda West, photo as his album cover. Adams’ quickly declined and released an open letter.

There’s more! Kanye sat down with Charlamagne tha God for a two hour interview, where he touched on everything from Kim getting robbed in Paris to the iconic Taylor Swift debacle at the 2009 VMAs. After his interruption, Kanye revealed that he was hurt to see a leaked video of President Obama calling him a “jackass,” and he never apologized.

Kanye also explained how he felt when Beyoncé and Jay-Z didn’t attend his wedding. The rapper said that he was hurt by their absence, but he was able to reflect and acknowledge that Bey and Jay’s relationship was rocky at the time. #LemondaeEra

He also opened up entirely about the fashion industry. Kanye said that he feels like no one wants him in fashion, and that he’s had bts deals with fashion icons like Gucci and Versace.

Ye’s interview with Charlamagne was positive and honest. But things went down hill very quick.Kanye’s video with TMZ was released, which began the #RIPKanyeWest trending topic. During the interview, he said that he was addicted to opioids after getting liposuction, so he wouldn’t be taunted like his brother-in-law Rob Kardashian. But what closed the coffin was Ye’s philosophy on slavery. Kanye shared that after 400 years of slavery, he believes that it was a choice for African Americans to be enslaved.

When you hear about slavery for 400 years — for 400 years? That sounds like a choice,” West told the TMZ. “Like, you were there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all?

Yikes! Kanye has definitely been on a roll. We’ll keep you updated as more unfolds. Share your thoughts in the comments!
