With the start of each new season comes a new set of “it” colors every woman should have in her closet! Well, we’ve got those “go-to” colors this winter. From “merlot” and “butterscotch,”  to “galaxy blue” and “barbie pink,” let us fill you in on why these must-have hues are essential next season! Scattered throughout 2019’s Fall/ Winter  Fashion Weeks shows, you can see the different ways designers featured merlot red in their collections. Several big-name fashion houses demonstrated the versatility of the shades in the form of textured fabrics and statement pieces. Oscar De La Renta and Richard Malone were among those names that made use of the deep and sultry shade, creating a dynamic contrast within their runway looks. If romance was a color, merlot could possibly be it! This shade is sure to get you through fall and well into the winter holiday season.

On the contrary, “Fruit Dove” pink makes its mark in this season’s fashion as well. This playful color is an easy choice for women not afraid of making a fun style statement, predictions for-see that monochromatic is the way to go with this one. This winter you can play with different shades of pink ranging from what some know as “Mattel/ Barbie Pink” to a softer muted version like “Fruit Dove.” Either way, you can be sure you will fall right into one of the hottest colors right now by incorporating this flirty tone into your wardrobe this winter.

Get lost in the galaxy blue hue we saw pop up all over runways during fashion weeks across the globe. It can be considered a softer shade of navy or “evening blue” and is perfect for a night out. The color also dubbed as digital blue was sprinkled all throughout the Fall/ Winter collections of labels like Christian Soriano, Louis Vuitton, and Iceberg. Butterscotch is a deliciously warm color trend we can’t get enough of this season. An ideal color to transition over from winter to fall with. This tone is great for shoes, accessories, and outwear during the winter months. A.W.A.K.E. and Lanvin did an excellent job of showcasing butterscotch’s versatility as more than just an accent color during their fashion week presentations.  A color you will for sure be able to get your wear out of this winter and many more to come!
