Remember the R&B girl group Cherish?
After rising to fame in 2003 and being featured on Da Brat’s single “In Love with Chu,” sisters Farrah, Felisha, Fallon and Neosha released their official debut single, “Miss P.” Unfortunately, that single had little success on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart in the U.S., resulting in the cancellation of their debut album.
Committed to their craft, the ladies continued recording music, including aiding in the soundtrack for The Powerpuff Girls Movie.
Several years later, they released their second official single, “Do It to It.” Debuting at #10 on the U.S. R&B charts, Cherish followed up with their debut album, Unappreciated, which ranked #4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the U.S.
The group also found success with their later released single, “Unappreciated.”
In 2008 Cherish released their second studio album, The Truth. Failing to reach the top 20 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, the album didn’t triumph as well as their previous. However, shortly after, they dropped their second Top 40 hit, “Killa.”
Amnesia is acknowledged as another one of Cherish’s top records:
Unfortunately, due to friction within the group of sisters, they decided to part ways.
Where are they now?
Twins, Felisha and Fallon, continue to make music, with Felisha recently being spotted in the studio with Sevyn Streeter. The twins even hinted at a reality show last year.
Neosha is enjoying her life as a wife while Fallon takes pride in motherhood.
We would love to see these ladies make a comeback! What’s your favorite Cherish song?
