Tyra Banks is the ultimate businesswoman who has taken her career from a supermodel to a super mogul. The new mommy has built an empire from her long standing career as a Victoria Secret Model and one of the highest paid models in the early 2000s.
After passing the reins to singer Rita Ora as the new host of “America’s Next Top Model,” Banks has landed her next project as she teams up with NBC for a new TV series.
The purpose…to find America’s next top entrepreneur.
As the former supermodel gears up to be an advisor on the revamped version of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” NBC has given the greenlight for Tyra to build her own series.
The show is tentatively titled “Funded.” The show will include Banks along with two other entrepreneurs, skateboarder/ Reality TV star Rob Dyrdek and multi-millionaire Rohan Oza, the visionary marketer behind Vitamin Water and Vita Coco water. They will mentor contestants as they compete with each other to win a $1 million dollar investment from a venture capitalist at the end of each episode.
Think a la “Shark Tank” of the series.
There is no set premiere date of the show. Will you watch the new show once it premieres?
