After the abrupt split that sent “Kyga” fans off the deep end a few months ago, new information has surfaced, which could possibly put all unanswered questions to rest.
According to a recent interview with BigBoy TV, Tyga confessed that during his two-year courtship with Kylie Jenner, he felt his fans were unfamiliar with who he was personally outside his idolized relationship. He said, “When you’re in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently than that.”
He went on to say that being a part of the popular E! series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” took a lot career-wise because it wasn’t him that fans fell in love with, it was his relationship. The Cash Money artist added, “It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things that I worked hard for.”
While this is the first official time Tyga has spoken about the breakup, Kylie has remained quiet for the most part. Nevertheless, the Rack City rapper thinks they can rekindle their love a little later in life.
“Maybe later on in life, maybe we might come back,” he said. “She’s young. When you’re young, you’re going to make mistakes. All of those mistakes are going to be in the public eye so that puts a lot of strain on the relationship. Right now, I want to focus on what I need to do. I just wanted to get back to just me. I think for her as well.”
