Nearly two decades after his death, the untold story of one of the most influential rappers of all time unfolds in theaters this weekend.

Tupac Shakur’s legacy deserves to be told and thoroughly. Demetrius Shipp Jr. stars as Tupac in the All Eyez on Me biopic, and boy does he resemble the artist. Judging solely off of the producers’ ability to execute the Tupac look-a-like, this should be good.

Tupac wasn’t the average rapper. His lyrics painted a picture and told a story that the world could relate to. His choice of words may not have always been delightful but they were realistic and prolific. He had an extraordinary talent and a powerful voice that graced the music industry head first.

The rapper’s rise to fame was automatic and superstardom happened quickly. Just as any other celebrity, his fame and success came with a price. His life was taken at the early age of 25 before he could enjoy the fruits of his labor.

The artist has achieved a massive amount of music accomplishments and is arguably the best rapper of all time. He gifted the music industry with so many records that his prominence after his death caused some to believe that his death was a hoax.

Of all the music and the documentaries, there are still lose ends to Tupac’s life that were never dealt with or hardly explained. If there were ever a biopic fans were waiting to happen, All Eyez On Me wins hands down.

There are so many things that fans thought they knew about him, yet so many questions unanswered at the time of his death. At last, his story has made it to the big screen.

This should be EPIC! Watch the trailer below.
