New York rapper Troy Ave is the primary suspect in the deadly shooting that happened at a T.I. concert in New York on Wednesday night.

The shooting left a total of four people shot and 1 man dead; Ronald McPhatter who died at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital later that evening. McPhatter was a member of Troy Ave’s camp also known as B$B Banga.

New footage was released from the surveillance camera in the green room where the shooting took place. The video shows what appears to be Troy Ave busting in the room taking shots.

According to a source on the scene Troy Ave mistakenly shot himself and his close friend throughout the chaos.

Supposedly, Troy Ave had been previously beefing with rapper Maino and his camp, which is where all the drama emerged. But on Thursday, Maino took to Instagram to kill the beef rumors.

First and foremost my deepest condolences to the family & friends of Ronald Mcphatter who was tragically killed last night. Despite having to cope with more senseless violence. I woke up to the usual FALSE and ridiculous lies being circulated by irresponsible members of the media. What transpired was absolutely NOT the result of MYSELF or ANYBODY IN MY CAMP , ENTOURAGE, TRAVELING PARTY or ORGANIZATION IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. We entered the venue respectfully as always and exited in shocked like all other concertgoers. For the last 5 years Troy Ave, his team and I have had a great working relationship. Not only have we performed and done several songs together but we’ve had many personal conversations about life our goals and efforts as musicians. Despite media reports to the contrary, there are No “ongoing beefs” or “entourage issues.” It always has been and always will be good relations between myself AND MY TEAM and @TroyAve @Hovain @YoungLitoBsB and the BSB crew. Our deepest sympathies again to family of Ronald McPhatter and a speedy recovery to Troy Ave. The movement will not be stopped. #BROOKLYNUNITED #HEARDYOU

According to the New York Daily News, Troy ave has been arrested for reckless endangerment and illegal weapons possession, but he has not been charged with murder, as they are awaiting the results of ballistics tests before charging a particular suspect.

T.I. also took to Instagram to send his condolences to the family of Ronald McPhatter.

Rest In Peace Bro. God bless.
