Super Bowl weekend was anticipated for the longest time as Bronco and Panthers fans anxiously indulged in each quarter, keeping the Internet up to date with the various happenings. For some, their weekend concluded in an epic manner, and others unfortunately dreaded the fact of starting a new week accepting their team’s loss. However, fans weren’t the only disappointed ones! The post game press conference was a very tense one as players from both teams were submerged simultaneously with questions. Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was still so devastated following his team’s loss to the Denver Broncos that he walked off stage in the middle of the press conference. News casters, sport commentators and even the NFL took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Cam’s lack of interest during the conference. Former Football player and current Hall of Famer and Sports Analyst for CBS, Deion Sanders Sr. gladly entertained Newton’s fans as they tried to justify why he walked off stage. Football wasn’t the only thing that concluded its season; the New York Knicks fired former head coach Derek Fisher Monday morning after the team lost its fifth game and nine of its past ten. Although with such a successful player history under his belt, and Fisher winning five championships, Knicks’ president Phil Jackson thought he could pull off the same by coaching. It has been announced that the official replacement coach will be Kurt Rambis. According to the team, they were convinced Fisher was not having a positive transition from former NBA player to NBA coach over his two-year term. Fisher’s termination became a trending topic on Twitter, where sources stated the Knicks may have made a $25 million mistake:
