The 2017 American Music Awards were definitely unforgettable! Live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the show was hosted by the radiant Tracee Ellis Ross, so you know magic was everywhere. In fact, “24K Magic” since Bruno Mars was the big winner of the night.

Taking home a total of seven awards, including Artist of the Year and Video of the Year, Bruno was the artist to beat. Though we were excited about his wins, we would have been over-the-moon excited if he would’ve been at the awards show and performed. However, his tour schedule wouldn’t allow him to be there.

Now, a buzz worthy performance came from Christina Aguilera. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard, Aguilera took the stage to honor Whitney Houston and perform songs from the movie’s soundtrack. The performance definitely received some mixed reviews. While some were not happy with Ms. Aguilera’s vocals, others were pleased by her passion and emotion. One person who seemed to be a little unpleased by the tribute was singer, Pink.

It’s no secret that Pink and Christina have had issues in the past, so when cameras caught Pink with a puzzled look on her face following the performance, it took no time for the internet to run with it.

But hold your horses because Pink cleared up the drama on Twitter.

Back to the magic! Tracee Ellis Ross was the perfect host of the night. What made it even more special was that her mom, the legendary Diana Ross, was presented with the American Music Lifetime Achievement Award.

The whole family was there to support the icon. Diana even brought her grandchildren on stage when she performed her hit single, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” Cuteness overload!

During her acceptance speech, Diana gushed about her family, stating, “This is all about love, This is my family and I’m sending love out there to each and everyone one of you—our global family. I’m so humbled. I love you so very much and I think you know that. I really, really love you so very much and I will hold onto this beautiful honor. Thank you.”
