Different show, same hustle! The King of The South is expanding his empire and looking to add an aspiring mogul to his roster with, The Grand Hustle.

The 12-episode series, produced by Tip and Brian Sher, takes us on a journey alongside 16 aspiring moguls competing for a six-figure salary position ($100K to be exact) on T.I.’s Grand Hustle Team! “The Grand Hustle Empire is always expanding so therefore we needed to add a very talented, highly skilled executive to our team,” T.I. announced. “It doesn’t matter if you got your hustle at Harvard or the hood, The Grand Hustle is about how you handle business and what you can do for the brand, so I wanted to create a show that offers an equal playing field.”

I had the opportunity to sit down with one of the moguls in training on the show Miss Cierra Brooks, and chat briefly about her experience.

So tell me about yourself? What’s your hustle?

Well, my name is Cierra Brooks (also known as Blanca Gabbano) and I’m a Baltimore native. I’m a radio and television personality and the CEO, founder and producer of the DMV based visual digital media outlet “Deep Cover TV.”

So for those who don’t fully understand, explain exactly what “The Grand Hustle” is.

I would say it’s 16 go-getters looking to secure their bag and work with an incredible mogul. In the process, we’re basically set up to complete challenges elimination style. I would say “that’s it” but there’s sooo much more! Like T.I. told us in the house, “don’t get comfortable.” You may think you have it all figured out, but there could be a plot twist before you know it!

How did you get this opportunity?

It’s crazy… I honestly don’t even know! All I know is Google is your best friend. Back in 2016 I had just gotten laid off from my job and I just remember searching on google for free casting calls. After a lot of back and forth, a year later someone reached out to me and the rest is really history! I got a call one evening and literally had to pack my bags and leave within hours! It was crazy but so worth it.p

So we’ve seen shows similar to this before that support hustlers in a way that the regular world doesn’t necessarily. What would you say makes this show different?

Everything we did was REAL. I know that a lot of what you see these days on reality shows can be questionable, but every emotion, episode, and challenge was authentic. We worked our butts off on this show.

????????Okay okay IT FINALLY HIT ME! ????TODAY IS THE DAY! I’ve worked sooooo hard for this moment. A lot of people think when it comes to this industry, that having a pretty face will get you far. FALSE! That only works temporarily because eventually you are going to have to open your mouth! The reason why soooo many people in this industry respect me is because I don’t allow my looks to justify my talent. I’ve used my mind to get where I’m at today(which is why it took so long lol) and THAT right there is the REAL HUSTLE! I received NO handouts and a lot of no’s along this journey which makes this sooooo much more rewarding! I thank you alllllll for your genuine support! This is justttt the beginning! Can’t wait to see you all tonight, a celebration is DEFINITELY in order!✨ ???? • • Be sure to hashtag #TEAMCIERRA in all your post! How was it living with 15 strangers? Did things ever get heated?

It was stressful because I’m super OCD/germaphobe. You would think it would’ve been better because we were in a mansion and there’s a lot of space, but NO! And as far as drama, YES. Things got pretty crazy [sighs] you know how that goes.

There’s always “that one” on reality shows. What would you say was your “role” on the show?

By the first episode I was instantly declared “The Auntie” of the house! I was the “Positive Paula” of the show I guess you could say, but I kept people in check.

We all know that T.I. is full of wisdom! What’s one gem that you took away from this experience overall?

Hands down??? Rules are meant to be broken. Not in a sense where there’s a consequence, but where you figure out how to get sh*t done. Forget the rules, sometimes you have create your own path to get where you want to be.

Awesome! You know I have to ask the question on all of our minds… Who won?

[laughs] You’ll have to wait and see!

Fair enough! [laughs] So where can our amazing readers find you on social media?
