What’s wrong with being confident? Nothing! More than a characteristic, confidence is a state of being, it’s an aura, and how you exude it can be a game changer. However, being confident can be easier said than done for some, but can be achieved if you allow it. Have you ever seen someone enter a room and literally own it? Their head’s high, shoulders back, and their presence screams, “I’m here!”

When someone compliments you, instead of a simple thank you, you feel like “dabbin’ on em!” Seriously, we’ve all experienced that feel good moment at times. Yet while looking good definitely contributes to feeling good and provides a boost of confidence, we should also understand that it takes more to improve and remain confident!
Start with the (wo)man in the mirror! Even though you may have the t-shirt or Beyonce told you so, none of us are #FLAWLESS. This isn’t about physical appearances, it’s about looking inside of you. Believe in yourself! We often envision what we want in our lives, but many people lack the motivation to bring it into fruition. Belief is what separates those that see the glass half empty from those who see it half full. Belief in one’s abilities mixed with a confidence level that’s on 10 equals success! The power of belief will tell us we can do anything and having self-confidence allows us to fulfill it.
