New albums usually bring excitement to fans who long to hear new music and crave live performances from their favorite artists when they go on tour. 2018 has already birthed quite a few albums thus far, which fortunately for us, means a plethora of concerts we have the option of attending. For those of you looking for a move in your city or a potential opportunity to road trip with your girl squad, here’s a compilation of the tours that should be worth the watch and if we’re being honest, worth the money.
Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour
Roughly a month after the release of his double album Scorpion, Drake is set to hit the road alongside Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff. Aubrey and the Three Migos, which is also the name of the tour, will kick off this month in Salt Lake City, Utah and is slated to make its way around the US and of course in Drake’s hometown of Toronto, Canada. Trap music to bop to and a set of Drake songs that will get you in your feelings regardless of whether he’s rapping or singing?? Sounds like quite the balance.

It’s been three years since The Pinkprint Tour, which in itself is enough reason for the Barbz to show up and show out for Nicki’s upcoming tour. She’s given us a few songs and performances to hold us over until the Aug 10 release of her next album, Queen, but despite the uncertainty of how the album will perform, we wouldn’t mind being in a crowd rocking to her old hits. Add Future, Tekashi69 and a few unannounced surprises and the turn up has got to be real.

XXIVK Magic World Tour
There’s no denying Bruno Mars’ talent as an artist. His music appeals to all kinds of people, his voice is out of this world, his dance moves are on point, his videos are always entertaining, and to keep it real, he’s one of the artists who can actually bring it all to life in his performances. Who would miss the opportunity to see that on the XXIVK Magic World Tour? Bruno’s discography includes the more sultry sounds of R&B as well as the groovier, fast tempo Motown sounding records like “Finesse.” Speaking of which, Cardi B was supposed to join him on tour this summer but after recently giving birth to her baby girl Kulture, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper has decided to spend more time with her bundle of joy instead of rushing back to the stage.
Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour
When it comes to being an entertainer, Chris Brown’s dancing/singing ability has his name in conversation with the likes of Beyonce and Michael Jackson. He’s been more than generous with his music, but it’s time to connect with the fanbase who’s remained by his side throughout his trials and tribulations. The tour is already in motion. 6lack is one of the opening acts. HER is the other. A viral clip of their NY show captures Ella Mai coming out on HER’s set. To think, some people say R&B is dead.

On The Run Tour II Tour
The On the Run Tour brought together Bey and Jay fans to enjoy a night of their songs back when they had only a few collaborations and before their marital problems were disclosed on Lemonade and 4:44. When the international leg of the On the Run Tour II started without an album, complaints about being unable to rock to new music were a common concern. But, the Carters came through per usual, this time with their joint project, Everything is Love. Why attend the OTRII Tour? The question is why not? It’s music’s power couple at what is arguably at the culmination of their career/marriage killing the stage like they always do.
