Product Overview: Trader Joe’s worked with an upscale boutique to bring customers a salon-quality conditioner that will rejuvenate their hair with a refreshing tingle. This amazing conditioner (which is suitable for all hair types) contains a blend of certified organic botanicals, including peppermint and tea tree, designed to alleviate dry scalp, moisturize and clarify the hair. A 16 Fl. Oz bottle can be purchased at any Trader Joe’s store for $3.99.

Initial thoughts: I discovered this lovely conditioner while looking up protein treatments on YouTube. I absolutely love conditioners, so I focused on finding products that would strengthen my strands without leaving my hair feeling stiff and dry. After watching many reviews, I decided to head to my local Trader Joe’s and grab one of the three bottles of conditioner that were left on the shelf. Upon using it during my wash day, I immediately fell in love with the the eucalyptus and mint scent, the conditioner’s moisturizing properties, and its soft silky feel on my fingertips. Plus, at just $3.99 per bottle, customers get 16 ounces of product. Score!

My reaction: This conditioner is light and very refreshing on the hair. I truly felt like I had purchased a high end salon quality product! I also enjoyed the smell of the tea tree and mint and the ease that came into working the product into my hair. I deep conditioned with the conditioner on for 30 minutes under the dryer, allowing the product to really penetrate deep into my strands. Upon rinsing out the product, I found that my coils felt stronger, yet still soft and moisturized at the same time.

Do I recommend it: Yes! This conditioner is REALLY nice. The smell is amazing and the product description is 100 percent accurate. You will finish with hair that is stronger, more moisturized, clean and most importantly, soft to touch.

My Rating: 3.5
