If you guys are anything like me then you’ve been counting down the days for your children to return back to school. The kicker is I don’t have any kids yet but I am counting down the days. The school year you want to get your children started on the right track and I believe that it starts at home. So I have created some simple steps to create a learning environment at home.

  1. Reading Nook

This can be created by utilizing a corner in your child’s room. you can purchase a canopy from your local Walmart or target. Grab a pillow to go under it and a book shelf and you’ve created the perfect reading environment.

2. Homework Area

The homework area is a space that should be inviting for your child. The perfect space is filled with color and kid friendly.

3. Backpack Area

As a mommy on the go, your hands are already full and you don’t have time to search for backpacks or homework. A designated area for your child’s backpack will save my dog at my homework excuse. It will also save some energy from you yelling “where is your backpack.” This school year say goodbye to stress and tackle this year like a BOSS!
