Mama needs love too, but mama has yet to deliver that little bun in the oven. Unfortunately things didn’t work out with the baby’s father, but it definitely has with someone else! Mommy-to-be is ready to take things to the next level, but neither family is down for the ride. From “That’s immoral,” to “He’s a perv,” the both of you have heard it all. Do the nay sayers have a point? Is it wrong to date while carrying another man’s child? What’s a mommy to do?

“That’s immoral!”

Since when did having a new man become immoral? You can name quite a few flaws and immoral acts in everyone’s lives who responded with those words regarding your new relationship. Immortality comes in many different forms and calling out a pregnant woman who has found new love is one of them. Life doesn’t have to end because you’re pregnant; in fact, it could just be getting started.

“He’s a perv!”

Well if he’s a pervert, what are they? Anyone who has made this comment has probably imagined Mommy and her new boo getting it in at least once.  So who’s the real perv? What you do sexually should remain discreet; it your business, and yours alone. If they want to assume the two of you are intimate they can feel free but everyone knows what assumptions make.

“Mama needs love too!”

That’s right. You can shout that from the mountain tops, and they need to respect it. This is a very important time in your life and there is no room for drama. Being happy and staying healthy is top priority for you and your child. The fact that you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you’re incapable, unwarranted and undeserving of being loved.

Cutting the umbilical cord may not be the only important thing in your pregnancy that requires separation; cutting ties with negative folk may be necessary too!
