Ladies, time and time again we set goals for ourselves for the New Year but never quite obtain them. We use excuses such as, “I’m too busy,” and “I’m only one person,” to push our goals to the side. We often allow our everyday functions to get in the way of our progress, but no more excuses!

This year, strategically plan how to reach your New Year goals. You can do this by creating several smaller goals that are attainable which will ultimately convert into the bigger goal you have in mind. As you reach each goal, you will become more and more confident in yourself. You will also be more willing to continue and not quit. People are naturally visual and like to see progress being made towards the end result.

Vision boards are a great tool to use as well. A vision board is a concrete artistic depiction of your goals and aspirations. One can utilize a poster to write or paste pictures/words from a magazine. The pictures and words represent what you are visualizing in the year to come. You can make your vision board as broad or detailed as you would like. Use your creativity to express exactly what your goals are.

No matter how you approach meeting your goals, be sure to literally and figuratively mark them off as you reach them. If all goes as planned, at the end of the year, you’ll be able to see just how much you accomplished in 2016.
