The much anticipated female version of ‘Ghostbusters’ is dropping this summer! Nas has collaborated with the franchise to drop a limited collection that includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and hats from his clothing line HSTRY.

The 45-year-old hip hop icon rocks threads inspired from the film in front of the famous Ghostbusters’ car, Ecto-1, at the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City, California. Nas cites Ghostbusters as one of his favorite childhood films, saying:

Ghostbusters is every fun thing you can think of when it comes to the imagination.”

 The rapper sat down with lifestyle brand hypebeast.com to shed light on what the film meant to him during his upbringing and how he used that to inspire this joint project.

“We were just happy to go get out to the movie theater,” Nas revealed in the video after going to see the film with his mom and his brother.

He also revealed that when he launched HSTRY “as something fun to do,” he “didn’t think much about the fashion industry.”

These days, I’m definitely more business-minded because it’s that way now, he explained. Things are changing. The music industry is going through a drastic change on every level and every aspect of it. There’s new and interesting ways to do things. I like to be a part of that.”

There’s no set release date for the collection, but we’re guessing it will before the new ‘Ghostbusters’ film drops in July.
