Mariah Carey is joining the world of reality TV, but don’t let her hear you call her show a reality series. The incomparable diva will be on your TV screens in the near future with ‘Mariah’s World,’ a docs-series ordered by E!.

The show will be eight one-hour episodes that will show the other side of Ms. Carey. The series plans to follow Mariah as she begins her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour overseas, plans her upcoming nuptials to her fiancée, Australian businessman James Packer, and her inner circle in their most intimate moments.

“The series will present a unique, vulnerable and surprisingly humorous side to Mariah that her fans have never before seen while showcasing her unparalleled celebrity lifestyle filled with true glamour, maximum luxury and ultimate stardom. Mariah is one of the most captivating pop superstars of our time and one of the rare artists whose first name alone is instantly recognized around the globe” as told by Jeff Olde, EVP of Programming and Development.

I’m excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I’m about to embark on. I’m already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments,” Mariah Carey said in a statement released by her rep.

According to E!, the show will air globally across their 17 international channels reaching 153 countries in 24 languages.

The mother of twins Morocco and Monroe has been keeping busy with her Las Vegas residency, “Mariah #1to Infinity” at Caesar’s Palace and her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour that has 28 scheduled performances throughout Europe, Africa and the United Kingdom. With that being said, there’s no room for drama in Mariah’s life these days.

Who else is excited to see Mariah in this new series?
