It’s safe to say that in this day in age everyone is hustling, and by the looks of today’s economy, there’s no confusion as to why. Men are no longer necessarily given the role as breadwinners any more. Women are working just as hard, if not harder, to make sure they can provide for themselves and their families. It also wouldn’t be a leap to say this doesn’t go unnoticed by men.

Men are no longer looking for the woman who can only tend to house and his needs. In fact, who’s to say they ever really were? There’s a misconception that is portrayed throughout media and even in social groups that would have you to think that men are turned off by a strong-willed working woman, when in fact it is a major turn on.

Yes, tending to the home and his needs is a priority, but its not the only thing men look for in a woman. Ambition, passion and competitiveness are also key qualities men look for when looking for a mate. Being able to make a house a home is just the icing on the cake, but that alone won’t serve you or your relationship.

It’s important for the two of you to come together in a partnership that not only fulfills each others needs but also lifts one another up. Your man will be able to appreciate you more seeing you struggle to keep your career on track while he does the same. Your relationship will grow as you help one another to the finish line, and then once there, you’ll be able to draft new goals since the ones you previously aimed for are now complete.
