What better way to kick off the New Year than releasing new music and stating some ‘Facts.’ Kanye West has sent a message in the form of a diss track called ‘Facts,’ letting the world know his opinion on several hot topics, including rival shoe company Nike.

Kayne, who is known for his self-opinionated rhymes and speeches, used the melodic beat of Future and Drake’s hit song ‘Jumpman’ to state his facts and feelings about the popular footwear company.

The ‘All Day’ rapper originally started working with Nike back in 2013 on his own shoe line called YEEZY but then cut ties with the company and signed a multimillion dollar contract with Adidas Originals. Nike owns Michael Jordan’s infamous Air Jordan line. Kayne addressed in his track that he sold over a million shoes in 2015 and if Nike didn’t have famous collaborations with rappers like Drake and Don C, they wouldn’t be successful.

Adidas Yeezy line has jumped over the Jumpman/If Nike aint had Drizzy man they would have nothing. If Nike aint have Don C. they would have nothing./I ain’t drop an album but the shoes went platinum./Tell adidas that we need a million in production. I told y’all I need was the infrastructure.”

Catching wind of the diss track was Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan who of course felt the song was very comedic and not impressive.

Marcus took to twitter to share his thoughts on Yeezy’s song,

Despite Kayne’s personal opinion, Nike announced plans to reach $50 billion in revenue by 2020, having hit $7.7 billion in revenue in the last quarter.

Listen to the track below and let us know what you think.
