There seems to be trouble in paradise for Janet Jackson and her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana. Just three months after welcoming their son Baby Eissa, the two have decided to split. According to reports, Janet and Wissam will co-parent while Baby E lives in London with Janet.
A friend of the couple told the Daily Mail that their busy schedules played a role in the split.
‘Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn’t working and to go their separate ways,” the source said. “They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.’
This separation may come as a shock to many because Jackson married Al Mana back in February of 2012. Reportedly, the couple had a prenup that would award Janet 500 million dollars if she stayed married for 5 years.
(They stayed married for exactly five years and two months.)
Of course, Twitter had a field day with that information.
Recently, Jane’ts older brothers, Tito and Jackie Jackson, appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about the handsome baby Eissa. Jackie told show hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Rei that, “Janet had a beautiful baby boy. It’s all good. Everyone’s fine. Everything’s great.”
We wish Janet all the best during this difficult time!
