The hustle is real out in these streets! Jennifer Lopez aka J.Lo is definitely hustling those coins. From her stint on “American Idol,” her new NBC show “Shades of Blue” being green-lit for a second season and a very profitable and successful first run of her Las Vegas residency show “All I Have…” Ms. Lopez is on her grind.
The actress/singer/dancer is taking her singing talents back to where it all began; Epic Records. The mother of 8-year-old twins was originally signed to the label back in the early 2000s when her first album On the 6 dropped.
The “I’m Real” singer announced that she was going back to her longtime mentor L.A. Reid and Epic Records in an Instagram message that read:
L.A. Reid echoed the enthusiasm saying,
“I’m thrilled to welcome Jennifer back home with me to Epic Records. Jennifer is a true global icon with a magnetism that sears across music, film, and TV and I’m excited to be working together again.”
Lopez has continued her domination selling 12.5 million records, which includes four No. 1s, 29 charted singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and 16 No.1s Dance Club Songs.
As they say, the dream is free but the hustle is sold separately. Well, Jennifer Lopez’s hustle is no joke.
Congratulations on J.Lo’s continued success!
