It was just two months ago when Dreamville rapper J.Cole announced at Meadow Music and Arts Festival in Queens that it would be his “last show for a very long time.” Although no one knew why Cole was planning to take a break, it’s clear now that he needed some time to work on his new album.

According to an iTunes pre-order page that appeared on December 1st, it looks like J.Cole will soon be releasing his fourth studio album 4 Your Eyez Only.

This highly anticipated albums will is set to release December 9th, which is the two-year anniversary of Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

Cole has not dropped a single or any new music in a while, which is why the announcement of this upcoming album is such a surprise. 2014 Forest Hills Drive had no single or promotion either and that album ended up going double platinum.

4 Your Eyez Only will be released through Dreamville, but under exclusive license to Roc Nation.

Cole never seems to let us down,  so we can’t wait until December 9th to see what’s for our eyes only.
