When it comes to the best R&B era of all time, you cannot deny it was the 90s. You had TLC, EnVogue, Jade, Boyz II Men, the reconciliation of New Edition, and the list goes on.
But the bad boys of R&B will always be Jodeci. These four guys from Charlotte, North Carolina stepped onto the scene in the early 90s and gave us some of the biggest hits and even helped make some babies that are currently teenagers in this day and age. But the story of their rise and fall has never been told until now….or will it be?
That is the rumor that’s going around. According to Vibe magazine, the foursome, K-Ci, JoJo, DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin, may be getting the biopic treatment courtesy of VH1. Supposedly, the network is working on depicting their lives.
Mr. Dalvin hinted about the rumor weeks ago in a tweet:

VH1 hasn’t confirm or denied the rumor but we’re pretty sure many would love to see their story. The last biopic VH1 released was the TLC: The CrazySexyCool Story starring KeKe Palmer as Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas and the film surprisingly received positive reviews.
Here’s Jodeci’s first single “Forever My Lady” just in case you want to relive their heyday:
If the rumor is true, would you watch the biopic?
