Ever since Beyoncé dropped her new album Lemonade on April 23rd she has been getting a lot of feedback, including on her song “Sorry” where she sings the line “he better call Becky with the good hair.” This line had many of her fans and listeners wondering if Jay-Z had cheated on her with a white woman.

Iggy Azalea did not agree with Beyoncé using that name in her song. One of Iggy’s fans tweeted her, referring to her as “Becky.” She wanted everyone to know that no one should call someone that to make fun of them, it’s a nickname for white females who perform oral sex.

Iggy tweeted, “Dont ever call me a Becky,” she continued “WE ALL KNOW becky started because you all think white girls just go around slobbing on everyones d–k. Im good on being called that.”

Once the Beyhive started tweeting Iggy nonstop about calling Beyonce racist she wanted to clarify to everyone that she loves Beyonce and doesn’t think she is racist. Iggy tweeted, “No i dont think Beyonce is racist nor do i think calling someone BECKY is the same as a racial slur. I actually like her and the project,” she continued. “BUT, no i dont think its great to use stereotypical names to describe ANY race. I think we can all agree on that.”

Nick Young stepped in on Twitter to get some laughs out of their fans by tweeting, “I love my Becky but she be tripping lol.”

Iggy came back at Nick by tweeting a photo of him in the process of getting a tattoo with the word “rebel” spelled wrong.

Young replied to Iggy, “Noooo!!!! Ok you won Wasn’t fault my Twitter been hack I would never call you the Becky word lol.”

Beyoncé has yet to comment on her use of the word “Becky” in her song, but her album Lemonade is currently number one in the USA and several other countries. It’s great to see that Iggy and Nick are still going strong!
