In 2010, the song “Deuces” could be heard almost any and everywhere. Who knew that this term would be used to signify the end of the relationship between the producer and singer of the song?
It all started with Kevin Mccall’s tweet where he not only asked to meet up with Chris Brown but also expressed his lack of concern for losing fans and called the singer a “coward” who would not respond to his mature efforts to talk about business.
Proving him wrong, Chris responded with a lengthy Instagram post where he went off on Kevin, recklessly explaining that the fame and his arrogance were the result of his downfall. “The label dropped you because you thought you were a better writer or producer than the nigga you are today. You lose passion and hunger over money and flexing when you aint got it,“ he shot. Furthermore, Chris mentioned his efforts in attempting to help Kevin’s career and challenged him to either a fight or a beat down in the event that he kept degrading him. “Keep f-cking wit me and you won’t be able to walk let alone sing again.”

As if battling for the title of King Petty, the two continuously threw shade at each other as they posted memes and videos that have since been deleted.
Fed up with the back and forth, Kevin who is signed to Chris’ label CBE Imprint, simply asked for a way out of his contract. He tweeted, “Since you don’t fool with me, let me out my contract,” tweeted McCall. “Why are you trying to hold me hostage if I’m [shit]?”
There is no telling how this beef is going to end, but from the looks of things, this is definitely one to follow. Stay tuned!!
