Not only is Queen Bey preparing for a new world tour, but she’s also rebuilding her management team. Beyonce’ has fired her general manager of five years, Lee Anne Callahan-Longo. She is now working with a man named Steve Pamon, who is the brain behind JP Morgan sponsoring Beyonce and Jay-Z’S 2014 “On the Run” tour. Pamon is also the head of JP Morgan’s sports and entertainment marketing team.
According to a close source, Beyoncé has cleaned house and has hired a new team.
“She wants to surround herself with business people who could take her career to an even higher level,” says the source, adding that Bey would like to make better decisions when it comes to touring, sponsorships and acting roles.
Former Island Def Jam executive, Peter Thea, has also joined her team. According to Beyoncé’s rep this decision has been in the process for quite some time now. The rep says some senior staff had the option to reposition and stay on and others were let go to pursue their personal goals. As for her prior manager Lee Anne, they will remain in each other’s life, as their friendship surpasses the music industry.
With a new song, world tour and possibly a new album, Beyoncé is surely keeping things fresh.
