Do you ever wonder how celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Beyonce get their eyebrows to look so phenomenal? Follow these 3 easy steps and you too can achieve the fierce, sexy brows you’ve always dreamed of!
Put down the Tweezers!
Nothing is worse than over plucked, over tweezed, barely there brows. When it comes to pulling out just one two many hairs in that delicate area, I certainly plead the fifth. Like many of you out there, my goal has always been to achieve a perfectly arched look. Unfortunately, I was left with uneven, unflattering brows that failed to compliment my face.
How to Fix it: Seek out a licensed esthetician that specializes in eyebrow waxing and threading. These professionals are experts in creating a look that not only flatters your face shape, but enhances your features. The best part: you only have to come back for a touch up every 3-6 weeks!
Groom, groom, groom!
The eyebrows are a prominent feature of the face. Quite frankly, eyebrows can make or break your makeup look and need to be cared for just like any other hair that can be found on the body. This means that the brows should always look groomed and neat.
How to Fix it: Want perfect brows? Invest in good quality tools. Some of my favorites include a spoolie brush and an angled brow brush. The spoolie brush is designed to comb the hairs into place. An angled brow brush is ideal for applying color, sculpting and defining the shape of the brows. Add these tools to your arsenal for a perfectly flawless look.
Fill in those brows!
Not all of us are blessed with Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn’s thick, gorgeous eyebrows. Some of us have sparse areas, awkward shapes and discoloration. There are hundreds of products on the market that promise to deliver great brows. With all of the products that are available (pencils, gels and creams) which one do you choose?
How to Fix it: Use them all! Whether you choose a pencil, gel or cream remember to follow the natural shape of your brow. Begin by choosing a color that mimics your natural brow for a cohesive look. Lastly, apply light strokes of product starting from the middle of the brow moving outward to the tail for a flattering, gorgeous look.
