Donovan Williams, better known as Zroc, a talented young rapper hailing from one of the most notorious neighborhoods in DC, learned how to capture life challenges into bars. Once a member of a DC rap group with a popular buzz, High Definition (HD), Zroc credits his growth lyrically from the transition to becoming a solo artist. The young MC recently dropped his new single, “Streets Don’t Love Ya” pulled from his mixtape, DWID (Do What I Do) which was executive produced by Joe Millionaire via SoundCloud. The single definitely carries a modern element mixed with a ballad to the streets.

This track gives listeners a glimpse of Zroc reflecting on his struggles in the hood. There is no doubt that West Coast and southern rap is dominating the game; Zroc is putting on for DC and is ready to make an impact.

“It’s like everybody don’t love you when they don’t have cash and you do… How they hate on me, I had the same chances as you?, Zroc states.
