Jennifer Lopez has so much on her plate, how does she have the time to record new music?

Ahead of the American Idol series finale, Jenny from the Block released her first single since re-signing back with Epic Records. “Ain’t Your Mama” has J.Lo putting her man in his place after not pulling weight in their relationship. Every woman can relate to this song…

Written by Meghan Trainor (All About That Bass) and produced by Dr. Luke, the tune has the mother of twins belting out lyrics such as:

No more playin’ videos games, things are about to change ’round here

I ain’t gonna be cookin’ all day, I ain’t your mama

I ain’t gonna do your laundry, I ain’t your mama

When you gonna get your act together?”

The song itself brings Lopez back to her latin roots on the verge of her “On The 6” days.

Could this song be a Summer anthem? We’ll find out when the American Idol judge performs the song for the first time on the finale.

In the meantime, this single seems to be a sample of what’s to come on Jennifer’s next album that will be released through Epic Records. And her NBC show, “Shades of Blue” was renewed for a second season earlier this year. Plus, she’s kicking off her second round of shows in Las Vegas for her Planet Hollywood residency “ All I Have” on May 22.

Take a listen to the song and it’s currently available for purchase on iTunes:
