Greg Selkoe has reemerged and is ready to kick the door to fashion all the way in! For those who are unfamiliar with Greg; he is the former founder and CEO of Karmaloop.com. Targeting a millennial audience, a demographic better known as the “Verge Culture,” Karmaloop was once referred to as the world’s largest online retailers of streetwear, footwear, accessories, housewares and much more! The eCommerce’s dynasty came to a slow close in March of 2015. During that time, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, causing Greg to step down.
Since that time, Selkoe has been in the lab cooking up one of the most amazing online retail concepts of our time. It’s something so new, so innovative and so DOPE that EGL couldn’t keep it low… We had to share it with our readers!
Curateurs is the name of Greg Selkoe’s newest venture. Co-founded by tech entrepreneur Paul Judge, it is a digital retail platform that allows the consumer to connect with their favorite celebs, influencers and artists through portals called Galleries. Within these galleries you are able to take a brief tour of their wardrobes, collector’s items and home goods. You also get the opportunity to purchase them! But, wait… There’s more! Gallery featured celebrities will not only be selling their personal items, but they will also have the opportunity to curate their own personal collections as well! How cool is that?!
Who are some of the celebrities featured? Kanye West, Lebron James, David Beckham, A$AP Ferg, to name a few, but there are so many more!
If you are just as blown away as are, then head over to www.Curateurs.com to explore all of this site’s amazingness. You don’t have to take our word for it, alone… Check it out for yourselves. It’s going to blow you away!
Greg Selkoe and Paul Judge give you an inside look at Curateurs.com and go into deeper detail on the brand during an interview with Complex. Click here to watch! Make sure you comment on what you think about Curateurs and don’t forget to hit that share button!
