It’s almost New Year’s Eve and you have no idea what to do for your family on that day. Many families will gather together and patiently wait for the clock to strike 12. Instead of watching the clock strike 12, here are a few family activities to enjoy on New Year’s Eve.

  1. Game Night

Gather your favorite board games like monopoly, charades, uno, and pictionary. Have everyone bring their favorite board game and play games until the 12am.

2. Create Vision Boards

A vision board is easy to make and you and your family can create your own by using a poster board,glue,scissors,and magazines. This is a great activity for the entire family even kids.

3. Favorite gift Exchange

Have everyone bring something that they love and would like to share with someone else as a gift. Although, Christmas is right before New Year’s Eve save a gift to exchange on New Year’s Eve. This is a great ice breaker and gets everyone excited about the night.

4. Time Capsule

Create a time capsule so that you can store all of your memories and revisit the capsule years later. This is an awesome activity to reminisce and enjoy laughter and memories.

Place several bags on the counter that represents a specific time. At that time have a certain activity to do at that particular time. Get creative because this will have everyone wondering what they will do next at that particular time.

5. Wishing Wall

A wishing wall is a great activity for the entire family. Have them list several wishes that they hope the New Year will bring. To do this activity you will need sticky notes, and writing utensils.

6. Movie Night

Have everyone pick out their favorite movie and enjoy movies all night long.

7. Pop the Balloons

Have balloons represent every hour and as the hour approaches have someone pop the balloon and read the activity for that hour.

8. Toilet Paper Tube Confetti Poppers

This activity sounds like a lot of fun to create.
