We’re just a few days away from one of the hottest awards show on the planet; the 2016 BET Awards! It’s all going down this Sunday June 26, 2016 at 8pm on BET.

But before we begin talking and tweeting about Sunday’s awards show, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and review our past favorite performances at the BET Awards.

Number 8: Mo’Nique’s Beyonce Dance Number Opening

Big girls can bounce too!  Actress and Comedian Mo’Nique proved to the world that curvy girls can run the world too, as she and her curvaceous dancers hit the stage at the 2004 Bet Awards.  They performed her rendition of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love,” which brought everyone in the audience including Queen B herself to their feet.

Number 7: Destiny’s Child Cater 2 U Performance

Ladies, do we really know how to cater to our men? Well if not, the ladies of Destiny’s Child are about to school you on some tips. Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle performed their hit single “Cater 2 U,” including a very sultry and seductive lap dance given to a few special men in the audience (Nelly, Terrance Howard & Michael Johnson). Check out the clip below.

Number 6: Trey Songz X Chris Brown X August Alsina Performance

These three top chart R&B crooners made a lot of girls and ladies dreams come true as Trey Songz, Chris Brown and August Alsina all came together for the 2014 BET awards to perform the remix of August’s hit “I luv this s**t.”

Number 5: Kelly Rowland’s Motivation:

“Baby i’mma be your motivation…” And indeed she was! Our girl Kelly Rowland gave us life with her 2013 BET Awards performance with her hit single ‘Motivation,” with the one and only Trey Songz giving us a super sexy performance!

Number 4: Beenie Man & Elephant Man Epic Dancehall Performance:

Light the fuse!   Reggae artists Elephant man and Beenie Man set the stage ablaze at the 2013 BET Awards as they had the audience jamming to all of the classic dancehall music including “Murder She wrote” and club banger hit ‘Heads high!” Check out the clip here!

Number 3:  Alicia Keys All Girl Group reunion performance ft: SWV, En Vouge and TLC

We love some good 90’s soul music. So it was a truly special moment when our girl Alicia Keys brought on stage her favorite girl groups at the 2008 BET Awards. R&B vocal groups SWV, En Vouge and TLC took us back while singing their classic hits “Weak” “Hold on” and ‘Waterfall’. Doesn’t get any better than that y’all.

Number 2: Chris Brown emotional tribute performance to Michael Jackson

The world was definitely shocked when the iconic Michael Jackson passed away in 2009.  It was only befitting that singer Chris Brown, who has idolized the King of Pop, pay homage to the late singer by performing some of his greatest hits including “Remember the Time”, “Smooth Criminal” ‘Billie Jean” and then finally breaking down singing “Man in the Mirror” at the 2011 BET Awards.

Number 1: Diddy and Bad Boy Family Reunion

The 2015 BET was one for the books as P Diddy and the entire Bad Boy family all came together for a historic performance. Diddy, Lil Kim, Ma$e, Faith Evans and more all sang and rocked out to their classics hits including “All about the Benjamins,” “I’ll be missing you” and more. This performance was the start to an epic national Bad Boy Reunion tour commencing this summer.

Check out the BET Awards all going down this Sunday on BET at 8pm hosted by Anthony Anderson and Traci Ellis Ross! You don’t want to miss this.
