“Blue skies represent constancy as they are always above us. Grays give a feeling of stability, Red tones invite confidence and warmth, while the hot Pinkish Purples and Spicy Mustard Yellows suggest a touch of the exotic.”
-Leatrice Wiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute

As you all may know, each season brings new trends in clothing and color. And this season, Pantone has yet again defined the language of color with 10 color trends to add to your wardrobe!

So, what’s on the color wheel this season?” You ask.

This season’s Fall report is bringing warm hues of blues, reds, nudes, yellows, and greens. The EGL fashion squad grows giddy with anticipation just waiting for the grand reveal! In addition to taking a look at our personal faves, we’re also going to throw in a small hint of fashion inspiration through the use of style boards.

Now, let’s get started… Shall we?

For our first fabulous hue, we’ve chosen to follow the Yellow Brick Road and fall into this Emerald City inspired color called “Lush Meadow.”

It’s a sultry and luxurious green that looks rich and super expensive. To accent this bold hue, try incorporating pops of white and black for a simple flair. If you are looking to make more of a statement, try adding hints of silver or gold to your look.
