We recently informed you that rapper Joe Budden released a diss track called Making a Murderer” aimed at Toronto native, Drake. Since then, Joe had dropped another diss song called “Wake.” All the while, Drake has been pretty quiet. That was until French Montana released his new single “No Shopping.”

Drake is featured on the end of the song and wasted no time getting right into it. His first rhyme stated,

Pump, pump pump it up. She got a good head on her but I pump it up. I’m not a one hit wonder they know all my stuff. You let me turn into the nigga that you almost was.”

He continued: “I done seen a lot of shit and I done been in things. And I ain’t never started nothing I just finish things.”

It doesn’t stop there.

As Drake closes the song, he squeezes in one last jab, saying, “Last week, Budden ran in the room. This week sold one-point two.

Needless to say, this is the moment Joe has been waiting for! We mean, Drake’s first line alone was enough to send Joe back into the studio to crank out another diss record; and that’s exactly what he did.

Fans hadn’t even heard Drake’s verse yet before Joe was on Twitter promoting his new and now THIRD diss song called “Afraid.” The record actually samples one of Drake’s earlier songs in his career called “The Resistance” where the hook goes,

What am I afraid of? This is supposed to be what dreams are made of, but people I don’t have the time to hang with always turn around and say the same sh!t, they say ‘you promised me you would never change.”

Joe then chimes in saying, “I just feel like you broke a promise to me. Only hurt cause I thought you were being honest with me.”

We’re not sure when this hip-hop saga will come to an end, but it sure seems like Joe has finally got Drake “Charged Up” and ready to go!  So there we have it! Another day, another rap war. We’ll keep you posted.
