As if “Views”, which has remained at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for an 11th nonconsecutive weeks wasn’t a success; Drizzy wasted no time dropping the hits that a new mixtape is in the works.

According to 6th god himself, he is working on a new music. The rapper kicked of his “Summer 16” tour in Kansas City (July 22), which he made memorable for calling out a few rivals and for his an unforgettable jab at Joe Buddens.

Drizzy left the stadium with a few words for his fans.

“I want [you all] to protect yourself and everyone around you and spread love; spread good energy,” he told his adoring public. “Because you know what? What I saw tonight was a beautiful building of beautiful people from all races and all places. And I want you to protect yourselves and each other so when I go and work on this new mixtape and come back to Kansas City and I drop that shit, I wanna see everybody in this motherfucka, boy!”

Rumors of a collaborative project between Drake and Gucci Mane recently suggest that “it will be an EP tentatively titled 6’ers.” Drake didn’t give much detail about the project, but one thing is for sure that new music is in the works.
