Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is number one on the list, which is not a surprise. Diddy has a net worn of an estimated $750 million; a small increase from 2015. Puff has been back on the music scene but his cake comes from several businesses such as Ciroc, REVOLT, Sean John, and Aquahydrate.
Andre ‘Dr. Dre’ Young is number two on the list with a net worth of $710 million from his sales through Beats By Dre, his works with Straight Outta Compton and his Southern California real estate portfolio.
Jigga man Jay-Z came in at number 3, sitting on a net worth of $610 million. Jay-Z has his name in many different revenues, but buying Tidal may be his biggest. Since then, his net worth has tripled.
Now, make sure you put some respek on his name because Birdman is number 4 on the Forbes Five.Thanks to Cash Money, Birdman has a net worth of $110 million.
It was a huge year for Drake, as the Toronto rapper came in at number 5 on the list for the first time. He made the list due to touring, music, and deals with Apple, Sprite, and Nike.
Forbes says their list is made by “looking at past earnings, valuing current holdings, leafing through real estate records, and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, venture capitalists, and some of the moguls themselves.”
