After a hours-long stand-off with the police due to allegations that he threatened a woman with a gun, Chris Brown was arrested and taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department on Tuesday evening, but has since been released on a $250,000 bail. Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Brown’s home was surrounded by LAPD and S.W.A.T. teams all Tuesday morning, as the singer sat inside his Tarzana home and went on a Instagram rant saying, “F*** the police.”
Chris’ attorney, Mark Geragos arrived at Brown’s home before 1 p.m. PST, shortly after that, the police obtained a warrant and the property was searched. Brown and a few others came out of the house and cooperated with police.
After the search, the police declined to elaborate on any charges or what was found in the home.
Around 3 a.m. PST Tuesday morning, police responded to a 911 call from “Miss California,” Balyee Curran, who told police that she was threatened with a gun by Brown to get out of his home, and then asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before she left.
“I don’t sleep half the damn night I just wake up to all these … helicopters, choppers is around, police out there at the gate,” Brown said in one of his Instagram videos.
“What I do care about is you are defacing my name and my character and integrity,” Chris said, revealing that he has done nothing wrong and is continuously harassed.
“I don’t care y’all going to stay playing with me like I’m the villain out here, like I’m going crazy … good luck when you get the warrant or whatever you need to do. You’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing you idiots,” Chris rants.
Baylee Curran did an interview with TMZ Live, as she talked about how her terrifying night went. She explained that she came into Brown’s home after being outside in the hot tub. There was a guy in the house who was selling diamond jewelry. Baylee was admiring some pieces when Brown began to threaten her.
“Get the F outside, go back outside,” Baylee claims Brown said. “What did I tell you girls, I been telling you over and over.” That’s when Brown pulled out the gun and pointed it at her and said “ get the f*** out.”
Baylee claims, as she tried to leave, a friend of Chris wouldn’t let her go until she signed an on-disclosure agreement, but she refused.
Baylee took to social media and claims she “didn’t want this.”
Early Wednesday morning, around 2 a.m. PST, Geragos took to Twitter saying “thanks to everyone and their well wishes. Chris is out and well.

I have a different relationship with Chris, That’s my boy.I watched him come up, a lot of the shit he go threw is crazy to me. If your not safe at home when do you get a break? If someone calls 911 and says you pulled a gun on them in your house, are the police coming to creat a bunker at the end of your drive way for 11 hours to wait for a search warrant? Then live stream it, This must be VIP Treatment. SMH
Chris is due in court on September 20. What are your thoughts on Chris Brown’s alleged assaults?
