DJ Stormy is an international force to be reckoned with in music entertainment as she spins from coast to continents abroad. The Trinidad and Tobago native spent most of her life in New Orleans, LA and later moved to Atlanta after Hurricane Katrina. Built to withstand adversity, Stormy integrated her business education and her passion for music that thrives in her blood to create her own lane as the only International Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and Hip-Hop infused female DJ of color in Atlanta and The CORE DJ’s. The multi-talented superstar is making a buzz from her recent appearance on Hollywood Producer Will Packer’s dating-series, “Ready To Love,” which aired on OWN Network. Unfortunately, Stormy didn’t find love on the show. Instead, she has made it a mission to empower women in understanding that even on the quest to find love, you are always enough. As a domestic violence survivor and advocate, Stormy is wanting to reach out to women in Atlanta and all over the world to teach them to always be ready for self-love.
DJ Stormy is a renaissance woman who has performed at Essence Festival and has been featured on VH1, Bravo and dozens of other major platforms showcasing her spinning and acting skills. As the official United States Carnival Ambassador, Stormy is continuously breaking barriers across boarders and exposing the unique sounds of EDM to the masses. When she isn’t working, she’s giving back with her time at the Girls & Boys Club of Atlanta as well as a number of teen and women empowerment events. It comes as no surprise her work in the community has gained her a recent nomination for the 2019 BossBabe of the Year Award presented by the BossBabes of Atlanta. Stormy recently partnered up with fellow Atlanta creative, DJ Milhouse to curate a platform dedicated to the culture of female DJ’s called, ‘Boobz and Beatz.’ This summer, Stormy kicked off her summer yacht party series, ‘WET Atlanta,’ on Memorial Day; boat parties that spun off from her earlier memories during the summer time in Trinidad.
The eclectic actress, musician and DJ has a lot of things up her sleeves. Aside from her hot 8-track album Venom Kisses, Stormy is working on an EDM/Hip-Hop infused meets fitness world project and so much more. Be sure to follow Dee Jay Stormy International and everything this black girl has going on because she is rocking!
