TBS is reportedly working on a Biggie Smalls inspired scripted comedy. The sitcom is set to follow the life of a teenage boy in an urban community trying to make a living for his daughter and infant son. Apparently, the script will be based off lyrics from the late, great Biggie Smalls. It has not been revealed who will be staring in the show or writing the script. However, what we do know is that it will be co-produced by magazine and record label Mass Appeal  as well as Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace.

It has been 20 years since the tragic death of the Notorious B.I.G and his music still holds relevance today. He has been said to be the greatest rapper of all time. In 2009, Biggie’s life was played out on the big screen in the hit film NOTORIOUS, where his son in real life got the honor of playing a young version of his father. The film did extremely well in theaters and familiarized a younger audience with Christopher Wallace.

Hopefully, with his mother on board, the sitcom, which will be titled “Think BIG,” will do him great justice. We look forward to see where this is headed!
