As the buzz around Big Sean’s highly anticipated album I Decided continues to rise, more teasers and good news is surfacing. The rap star kicked things off the right way by hosting a packed out, exclusive listening party this past Tuesday night in the heart of New York City with stars such as Kelly Rowland and LaLa in attendance. However, the success of the event was just the start of more to come.
Following his album release party, Big Sean took to Instagram to announce new merchandise and locations for his new pop-up shops.
I’m too excited to be dropping new merchandise this weekend for y’all exclusively at the I Decided pop-up shop. Detroit, New York, LA & Toronto. 4 locations each one starts Friday and ends Sunday! #poweredbyshopify
But he’s not stopping there. Earlier this week, Big Sean dropped a quick visual to tease fans. The 32-second trailer for I Decided consists of music from Halfway Off The Balcony and Voices In My Head.
Directed by Canadian filmmaker Andy Hines, the scene is set in the middle of a deserted street. As Big Sean stands alone, the music begins playing with the message: “Voices in my head saying, ‘I can do better…’ damn. Voices in my head saying that I knew better.” Immediately after, the video shuts off, leaving much to the imagination of anticipating hip hop lovers.
Luckily, we don’t have to wait any longer! I Decided just dropped today! To top it off, Jay-Z gifted Big Sean with a diamond studded Roc-A-Fella chain, telling the MC that he had earned it. Big Sean’s project features The Dream, Jhene Aiko, Jeremih and Eminem.
2017 is already in the palm of this rap star’s hand, as he will be performing alongside Nas during the Super Bowl and is working on a follow up to the collaborative album, TWENTY88, with girlfriend, Aiko.
