So what exactly is this new trend that everyone is raving about? Strobing (or extreme highlighting) is a technique in which highlighting products are applied to the parts of the face that need to be emphasized or where the sunlight naturally hits the face.

Before starting the strobing technique, it is recommended that you first apply a hydrating primer to give your skin a perfect even, glowing canvas.

Next, take your fluffy brush (or fingers) and apply the highlighter onto the upper cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, the center of the forehead, brow bone, chin and cupids bow. For an intense strobe effect, try the Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone, Champagne Pop and Opal. The product is extremely pigmented, versatile and there is a shade for every skin tone.

Finally, gently stipple your foundation on top of the highlighter and onto the skin for radiant, dewy, finish. Complete the look with a light translucent setting powder or skip the step entirely.

There you have it! In minutes, you have achieved a gorgeous glow that will leave you looking luminous from day to night. Enjoy!
