With all that goes on in our daily lives, sometimes we ignore things that are literally right in front of us. When we look in the mirror, if we see something that we don’t like, we cover it up and keep it moving. We read the reviews, we research, and we ask around when it comes to trying new products. For some odd reason, a lot of people believe that it is okay to ignore certain changes because your skin has to get accustom to new products. The best product review is your skin. Skin is the largest organ of the body and will react when necessary. The best thing to do is pay attention and act accordingly.
I once thought that when puberty was done I could say adios to pimples and breakouts. One thing I do know is, the older I get, breakouts can mean different things. Pimples or breakouts can be hormonal, but they can also mean something more. Depending on the area of you face, breakouts can be caused by internal issues. If you notice breakouts in certain parts of your face, look into face mapping. If you are concerned about that, speak to your doctor immediately. Do not ignore sudden/new breakouts and DO NOT POP THEM!
I am the queen of product allergic reactions. I hear about a product….. I buy the product…. I have a rash on my face that itches, and there goes thirty dollars down the drain (I always lose receipts). When trying a new product, tingling and itching are not signs that it is working. It is your skin saying “no honey, this is not for you!” Depending on the ingredients, if you do not remove the product the tingling can turn into hives or something worse. There is a reason the labels suggest trying the product on a test area before applying all over your face and/or body.
