Azealia Banks will no longer be the headliner at the Born & Bred festival after sending racist and homophobic tweets to former One Direction member, Zayn Malik.

Banks began trending on Twitter when she claimed that Malik copied her work for his new video, “Like I Would.” She called him a “d-ck rider,” a “punjab,” and said his mother was “a dirty refugee who won’t be granted asylum.”



Azealia comments let the Born & Bred festival to cancel her headliner slot in July.


After this Twitter war, Azealia also got into it with 14-year-old actress Skai Jackson, when she tweeted that the rapper should “simmer down.”
