This past weekend, Ayesha Curry opened up her barbecue pop-up restaurant with stars like her husband Stephen Curry and fellow Toronto native Drake stopping by to show support. Unfortunately, reservations are not available until later next month but with this being Ayesha’s first professional restaurant venture, we can be sure to expect a whole lot more from this chef-in-the-making. Take a look at her pop up in Chef Michael Mina’s Kitchen.
Ayesha Curry has become the spokesperson for the classic woman everywhere. In a world where tradition is no longer deemed necessary, this young and beautiful woman has made it her aim to make being a “virtuous woman” cool again. Mrs. Curry has received all kinds of remarks when it comes to what she believes and how she chooses to express said beliefs but, at the end of the day, she doesn’t let any of it keep her light from shining.
In an interview with Parent magazine, Ayesha opened up about her faith, family and her struggle with being the wife of an NBA superstar and a full-time mother. Unsurprisingly, her struggle is/was like most newly married women. “I was figuring out what my career path was going to be. Then shortly after we got married, I found out we were pregnant with Riley. She was a borderline honeymoon baby. So that became my next move. I struggled with that for a while.”
She also shared some martial advice for those asking, stating “make sure that regardless of what’s going on individually in your lives, make sure you come together in the evenings and pray together, or just talk about your day. I think communication is just key, and I feel like especially today, with social media and the internet, there’s a lot of distance between people. Make sure you make time for each other as often as you can.”
For everything Ayesha Curry, make sure you check out her website “Little Lights of Mine.” Don’t forget to cop her cook book “The Seasoned Life” when it hits selves in September. Oh! Make sure to catch her hubby this week competing in the 2016 NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers! Go Warriors!
