“And I’m dreaming, dreaming, dreaming and I’m all in, all in, all in.”
Singer and Songwriter Alisha Chantaul Williams is letting the world know she is focused and ready to take on the music industry in her project All In. Chantaul touches on how she is living and trying to be the best in her song “Dreaming.”
Who is Chantaul? Born in Augsburg, Germany on November 14, 1991 to a sergeant in the U.S. Army and his bride, a native of Hamburg, Germany. At a very young age of six, Chantaul and her family moved to the United States. While growing up, Chantaul listened to 90’s style R&B like Jodeci and R. Kelly, as well as greats like Michael Jackson and Prince. The multi-talented singer comes from a family of vocalists so she was destined to start singing at a young age although she was shy and only sang alone.
The songstress attended Bennett College for Woman in Greensboro, N.C. and performed as a solo artist. As Chantaul began to really flourish into her craft, she began to open up for artists like Melonie Fiona, Lyfe Jennings, J. Holiday, Silk, Fantasia, V.I.C Wobble, Big Krit, Nipsey Hussle, Raheem Devaughn, Adrian Marcel, Luke James and Tank. The German-native blew the audience away with her dynamic voice at the B.E.T. Blaze the Stage Showcase and took the winning title out of 100 contestants in Charlotte, N.C.! Chantaul also appeared on B.E.T’s Wild Out Wednesday. From meet and greets in Macy’s to being consistent in the studio, this rising star is carrying some hits ready for radio spins.
In early January, Chantaul got a chance to hit the B.E.T. Music Matters showcase at SOB’s in New York City. Chantaul says, “it was one of her best experiences because the crowd showed me so much love.”
